Record Breaking Halloween 4 Hunger!

Last Wednesday October 31st, despite pouring rain, about 100 Walnut Grove Secondary students went around the community to collect non perishable food items for the Langley Food Bank. As our third annual Halloween for Hunger, we collected FOUR THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-NINE (4559) food items, beating last years amount by 1500 items! The WGSS Me2We club would like to thank all the wonderful students who spent their Halloween evening helping our community. And of course, a big thanks to the residences of Walnut Grove for their kind and generous donations.
